Alright that’s my intro for today..

Let’s get into it!

In Your Arms - Loaded Honey

If you like Jungle then you’ll definitely like this song because it’s the side project of the singers from that group. Whether you know it or not, you’ve probably seen and heard a Jungle song because they have these incredibly amazing choreographed visuals that have taken the internet by storm. This song is a slow burner with airy and emotional vocals over a soft production. Definitely one to wind down your night with. The visuals to this song make it that much better. It’s a one shot video shot in slow motion with an vibrant color grade giving Wes Anderson vibes. You can watch it below.

Golden Day - Whitney

I love discovering music from commercials. This song came from a Volvo commercial and it was the perfect fit. It really brought life to the commercial. Whitney is the offspring of the guitarist from Smith Westerns and the drummer from Unknown Mortal Orchestra formed back in 2015. The name of the song is exactly what the song feels like a golden day. The sonics of the song really paint a vivid picture which is what makes a beautiful song. Throw this one on your summer mix and play it when you miss those warm and happy days.

Visions of Me - Stevan

This is the 5th single from the Arrested Development EP which is entirely self written, produced, mixed and mastered. Stevan holds up a mirror to his own infatuation, recognizing the same intensity in his partner’s behavior and suddenly, it doesn’t feel romantic anymore. The song explores the fine line between love and obsession. This song is for anyone who overthinks love and relationships or is a hopeless romantic.

Quote of the Day

‘‘Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.”

- Plato

Video of the Day

New Mexico born Chezile delivers a melancholic performance of ‘Favor’, a shimmering indie pop track steeped in longing and bittersweet reflection from his recent EP ‘Alē’.

In honor of the greatest Rock N’ Roll singer of all time, Mr. Robert Plant’s 77th birthday…here is an image of him chilling on his fur coated bed in the back of the legendary Led Zeppelin Starship (their private Boeing 707) sometime during the 70s.
