This one comes from Houston’s own: tropicanaa, a rising rapper still flying way under the radar with less than 1,000 monthly listeners and not even 18 yet. But don’t let the stats fool you, she’s got effortless swag, sharp flow, and a voice that glides over the beat. WHO HURT YOU??? pairs her smooth delivery with a mellow, sun-drenched groove that feels tailor-made for golden hour drives. Give it a few spins and you’ll see what I mean. tell me straight - jigitz
Brooklyn-based producer Jigitz has been carving out his own lane in the underground dance scene, blending modern speed garage, bass-heavy drops, and exquisite vocal chops. The groove is relentless, the bass is chest-thumping and it has the nostalgic type of vibe to it.
If you’re looking for something to pick you up and make you feel like you’re in sweaty club in Europe somewhere, this is the track. Hit play, and don’t be surprised if you run it back five times in a row.

This is a photo of Ozzy from 1986 in London shot by Mark Bourdillon. What I love about this photo is not only his epic sideburns but, the bird he’s kissing like it’s his child. For reference, and I’m sorry if this offends people but, in the early 1980’s during the height of his substance abuse he shot and killed all 17 of his cats in his home. After that incident, he made a pledge to never harm an animal ever again, setup a charity to raise money for animal rescues and even teamed up with PETA. RIP a true legend.
